Francisco González.
I was born in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, México,
the 31st. of October. The first of four brothers, Juan Carlos,
Christian and Javier to whom I thank for their support, their
confidence, love and the way they smile towards life.
Mi first contact with photography was when at the age of six
my mother bought a Spiderman camera for me; as every child I
used to play the superheroe, but instead of saving the world
as Spiderman did, I wanted to take photos like Peter Parker.
That camera lasted several years, at the end it was broken
but still useful, it was the best present I ever had.
I studied advertisement in Mexico City which brought me closer
to photography, at that time I also made some technical studies
in the Active School of Photography and worked for several
photographers in the same city.
For me to show what I see and be able to share it in a photo
with the rest of the people, makes my soul grow.
Sunsets
When I got my degree I decided to go back to Puerto
Vallarta; I can´t be far from the sea for long and photograph
the sunsets which are impressive because every day they are
different and wonderful.
Portraits
At the beginning of the nineties I had the opportunity
to work as monitor in summer camps at the YMCA, taking care
of groups of children. There I took photos of them in
the different activities they were into, which showed their
happiness and I kept them with my lens.
Nature
We live in a world full of wonders and its a waste
not to photograph the gift that nature gives to us day by
day. From a lightning that sometimes scares us but at
the same time has that strenght and power, to a tree that
had stand for years in the same place, just watching or the
happiness of some animal.
Events
Because Puerto Vallarta is a touristic spot I´ve
had the opportunity to know and work with people and companies
that want to keep the memories of that special trip, whether
it is an incentive one, a convention, a golf tournament or
when the family reunites after a long time.
Impressions
Everything that calls my attention, I don´t
only want to keep it in my mind. What I see and feel in a
special moment, in that special place, the sadness or happiness
that wrapped me, I share it with everyone with my photos.
Weddings
The best moment for two persons that love each other is
when they get married. It´s the moment of maturity,
of growth of the couple and they get together to share their
lives for ever. A commitment between themselves in front of
their relatives and friends, and for me, the best environment
for my work, surrounded by love, happiness and party.
Promotions
Be able to express what my client needs of a product
in one of my photographs is a challenge that I am always willing
to take. From a beverage to the aerial photograph of a great
resort.
